Summer Update

Ok! Ok! I didn’t forget about the blog. I really don’t have a great excuse for my lazy writing. The summer just got away from me and what I could have written about would have been weak stuff. And I told myself when I started this blog that I would try my hardest to create something interesting.  And if I could not create anything or (most importantly) any writing that I’m not happy with then I would quit. I haven’t quit!

So, let me give you  a quick summer update. There have been some exciting things that have given me a huge energy blast. That is around the possibility of getting a huge job promotion. The promotion has not happen yet, but when it was presented to me, my energy soared big time.  Like I said, it was a blast of positive emotions and energy. That type of energy we all want to hang onto, cause it feels good.

Another feel good for me, was the Berkeley Kite festival in early August. I have always heard about this event and so I went.  This was the prettiest thing to see, multicolored kites by the hundreds in the sky. Hundreds of people all watching or flying their own kites. The energy in this group was so peaceful. No bad vibes anywhere. I highly recommend it.

In an earlier entry I talked about cleaning out my apartment of all junk. Well that continued and concluded with a garage sale in mid August. Now the sale did not bring in much money, but the cleaning process was a good experience. I cleared out so much stuff and have open up new space in my home. Now I’m eager to start-up some new art projects. The clearing was necessary to allow my creativity to come back online.

So, there are some of the good things that happened for me. I was going to list some of the bad events or weak events that showed up, but you know what?

I don’t want to rehash that stuff and you don’t want to hear it either.

So, I’m going to stop with this post. We’re onto new and more interesting stuff;  you are and I am too.
